Magique is the farm matriarch but even at 21, she has boundless energy and opinions, which she shares with anyone — horse or human — within earshot. Throughout her riding career she was an excellent teacher for Lynndee in how to “negotiate” with highly independent, confident and opinionated horses. Magique taught humans what humility and compromise really meant. She started her career in dressage but made it clear that was not to her liking. Eventing was far more her passion and had that passion been discovered earlier in her life, she might have made quite a career of it. These days she keeps young horses in line and still enjoys a good gallop across the fields and over the jumps.
